Q. What is Pure Prepaid?
A. Pure Prepaid is an exciting Prepaid Wireless product that gives customers the freedom and flexibility to make and take calls over our National Calling Network. Buy Airtime with our "Pay As You Go" Airtime recharge cards or ePIN's -- No monthly bills, No credit check, No deposit and No annual contract. You also have an array of features included like Call Waiting, Voicemail, Text Messaging, and Caller ID. Everything you need is in one convenient box that includes a cell phone, new batters, SIM Card, a home/travel battery charger, a bonus car charger, and 30 minutes of available Airtime, plus a user guide to get you started quick and easy.


Q. What calling plans does Pure Prepaid offer?
A. Currently Pure Prepaid offers a single flat-rate, Pay As You Go, calling plan with calculated rates as low as 9.9¢/per minute. The plan includes Nation-wide on-net coverage plus all typical calling features - Voicemail, Text Messaging, Call Waiting, etc. There are no additional domestic long distance charges. International Dialing is available - rates vary by destination.
Once your phone is activated, you have 50 free minutes to get you started. At this time we recommend that you add Airtime to your account with a Recharge Card or ePIN sold where you bought your new Starter Kit.


Q. How do I use my phone?
A. There are four very important things to remember when using your phone:

  1. You must have funds in your account to place and receive calls.
  2. Make sure your phone is turned on and properly charged. (Please see your User Guide for more information on charging your battery.)
  3. You must be in a wireless coverage area.
  4. Please download and refer to your phone's User Manual for complete operating instructions specific to your handset.

Q. Can Prepaid Long Distance cards be used with this service?
A. Yes. Remember, though, that you will be charged Airtime minutes each time you place a call, even if you are using a traditional landline phone card for international calls.
Note: Telrite also provides prepaid long-distance cards that are available in many stores across the USA. Look for the Telrite name when you purchase your next phone card.


Q. How will I know how much time I have left on my account?
A. As a Telrite Wireless customer, you will have the following tools to assist you in managing your account balance:

  1. Post-Call Balance Messages: After you hang up a call or send/receive a text message, you will receive a message (free of charge) indicating your new account balance.
  2. IVR - 611: Simply dial 611 and select the options to review your Account Balance and remaining Airtime Days.
  3. Low Balance Message: Any time your account balance drops below $2.00, you will receive a Pre-Call message warning you that your balance is low and you should refill your account.

It is important to note that you are not able to call or receive calls if you do not have Airtime left in your account.


Q. How do I add Airtime to my account?
A. After purchasing any recharge denomination ($10, $20, etc.) of Pure Prepaid, use one of the following convenient methods:

  • Method 1: (The 611 method.)
    Dial 611 from your Pure Prepaid phone. Choose Option 1. Then Select 1 again. Then enter the recharge PIN number from your recharge card or PIN slip as instructed.
     
  • Method 2: (The 888 method.)
    If your PIN was 123456, simply dial: *888*123456# and then press the Send/Talk button. The system will automatically read your phone number and your PIN and will apply the PIN automatically.
    NOTE: Be certain you have a good signal (at least 2 bars) when attempting to use this option

Q. Am I charged for calling Customer Service when dialing from my Pure Prepaid phone?
A. There is no charge to your airtime account when dialing 611 from your Pure Prepaid phone. However, you ARE charged your normal per-minute rate when you dial any 800, 866, 877 or 888 number from your Pure Prepaid phone. This is not unique to our service and is the same with other wireless service providers as well.

Note: It is toll-free when calling Telrite Customer Service from your home or other landline phone (non-payphone) using our 800, 866, 877 or 888 numbers for Customer Service.

Per minute Airtime rates apply to calls placed and received within the United States Calling Area. Applicable international long distance and directory assistance charges apply.
** Number of minutes is based on all minutes being used only for calling before the expiration date.


Q. What else comes with these calling plans?
A. The Pure Prepaid includes these features free of charge when you sign-up:

  • Text Messaging* (Only 10¢ per-minute)

  • Caller ID
  • Call Forwarding*
  • 3 Way Calling*
  • International Dialing*

*Use of features will incur Airtime or international long distance charges as applicable
** All Features require a compatible phone.


Q. Once the phone is purchased, what do I need to do to get started?
A. From any other phone, call our activation department at 1-866-581-2899, and our live representatives will assist you in activating your phone and give you your new number that same day, typically all in less than 10 minutes. It is recommended that you charge your phone for at least 3 hours before you can use it.
